Events

Events are a good way to connect with the community, find new volunteers, engage supporters, and share what work the Victoria RRA has been up to. Party staff at the BC Greens organizes larger events throughout the year such as Fundraisers, Pride, and Party AGMs, however the Victoria RRA is in a good position to organise smaller, more localised events. These smaller events can be a good way to accomplish some of the deliverables outlined in the Victoria Regional Riding Association Agreement.

The Victoria Regional Riding keeps a list of upcoming and past events that executives and volunteers have organised, attended, or think that others associated with the Regional Riding Association might be interested in checking out. The BC Green Party also hosts party-wide events and lists these on the BC Greens website event page.

Event supplies

The BC Greens have supplies that can be borrowed by the Victoria RA and volunteers. For more information on what can be borrowed and how to borrow them, check out the Event supplies page.

Event insurance

Some events require event insurance. Many insurance companies do not provide insurance for events they consider 'Political Activity', so it is important to double check with the provider to confirm that 'Political Activity is permitted. Events not hosted by the Victoria RRA

In addition to hosting events, the Victoria RRA also attends various events around Greater Victoria. These include events hosted by BC Green Party as well as events hosted by non-BC Green Party groups.

If you do not see an event listed on this page but want to know if anyone from the Victoria RRA will be there, the best way to check is either in the Victoria RRA Signal channel or in the BC Greens Volunteer Slack channel.

Meetings
